Once my sister had taken a hit and run pup to Jagpal’s clinic in
Sector 13, Dwarka. He was there and was very polite. He also
administered some injections and stitched up his front legs, which had
bad open injuries. The pup was constantly crying out in pain. My
husband suggested we take him elsewhere. We took him to Friendicoes
and got an x’ray done in between. It seems that Jagpal had stitched up
the skin without bothering to check for any fracture. It had multiple
fractures on both front legs. The vet then put several splints etc to
get the bone pieces together. The surgery took about 4 hours as the
old stitches done by Jagpal had to be taken off, fracture to be
catered to and then the legs to be sown back up. He stayed at FS
overnight. It took 4 months to heal and then finally was moved to an
aunt’s place. I never went to Jagpal again after that. Much later I
was informed that he was not a vet but a breeder. But he continues to
run a practise and has does vaccinations etc.
