Kerala does it again, shows why its Devil’s own country
Hi A**S,
i compressed the files, but the quality went poor.
Here is what i wrote to you before:
As i wrote we stayed in Fort Kochi at the end of February.
We booked a rowing boat trip through the backwaters by our hotel manager (you can book it at princess street).
We started with the bus pick up at our guesthouse (Orion Homesaty in Fort Kochi) and picked up other guests from other hotels.
The trip via bus took about 1 /1/2 hours to a small river bank, where we entered a 6 person-rowing boat (the way back without stops is about 3/4 to 1 hour).
later we changed onto a bigger boat, that bought us to another bank to have our meal (rice from bananaleafes, it´s offered when you book the tour).
The “restaurant” is directly at the river bank and very close (about 15 meters) to the dogfarm. There are about 20-30 dogs tied to palm trees. some of them look good, some are in a very poor condition (attached photos).
Someone from the restaurant told me that someone is breeding dogs there.
You have to book the rowing-boat-trip (with the bananaleaf meal) and visit the restaurant, otherwise you will not find the dogfarm.
As a hint i have a photo of the bridge where the tour with the small boat started. Maybe you can find it.
I informed a animal care organisation at the flea market at Goa. They told me that they have a branch in Kerala. But i dont know if they took action already.
I think the dogs need some help !
The dogs have no shelter and as you see it on the photos, some of them are in a very, very poor condition (nearly dying !). Please help them !
There are many kind of dogs. Pomeranians, Dobermans, Alsatians…
Warm regards,
M****L
