Dear Rishi,

I  have spoken to Anjali and she is presently at the children’s home where they all seem to love her. I will go and meet her today.

Ananya is just a pup. She was not picked up by the NDMC since the other 4 dogs who live there, including her mother were all there when she went missing and everyone was frantically looking for her. My feeling is that she was picked up by either some kids or rag pickers who thought they could perhaps sell her since she looked very healthy and cute. I am just so relieved she has been found and is alive. It has been a total miracle.

I totally take your point about being more watchful though. What you have written about them being killed for organs is awful. The other issue I have noticed is stealing dogs for breeding because it is money spinning business. At the park were we take our dogs on
Rouse avenue we see several labs and even a St. Bernard and can make out they have been kept for breeding purposes.

God bless all those who find our lost dogs and reunite them. All the lost ones are in my prayers each day.

Wow.
This is some newz.
Just call anjali and find out. Her no is given. Also lets get to the depth of the situation as to how this dog reached so far. This shows the cruel side of our NGOs we support so much. DIslocation. Was she operated prior to dissappearance and is she now?
We must find out. And i personally think the dog would be happier in her previoud habitat unless she has found a home. Anjali may be fostering her temporarily. But if she has got the dog a right place then cheers otherwise this dog must be taken back. And please share a video of the reunion with us. Such moments are the reason for us to live :).
And please lets find out which ngo or mcd did this.

Subject: Re: Is this dog anyone’s pet ? name ANANYA

SHE’S MINE AND I CANNOT *THANK YOU* ENOUGH!!!!

She was born on 17th October. We have seen her mother through birth, 5 out
of seven pups dying on the first night; of the two who made it through eight
weeks one got run over last week and this was baby stolen on Sunday evening
around 8:30 – 9:00. She is co-owned by a polish wallah, a fruit wallie, a
sunglass selling walla and a cloth walla all on the corner of B Block CP
between B & C Blocks. I can’t tell you how distraught all of us were and
have searched all over CP night and day. I was about to write a mail on the
off chance that someone in the group had come across her and there I saw
Rishi’s mail

I’ve just been to ask them if they want her back and told them that she will
be very safe and happy where she is and will bring endless joy to children.
They are torn but have understood and all they want is that I go see where
she is and get them a photo to keep.

I was rather hysterical over the phone – I am sorry. I know you told me but
in my hysteria I can’t remember. Please tell me who found her and where. We
can’t understand who took her. As you can see she was very well kept and
healthy so maybe they thought she was a good breed. I suppose once they
realized she was not and also that was a girl they just dumped her. Really
how cruel can people be. Kapashera is miles away from CP.

Once again thank you Anjali and thank you Rishi and God bless all of you –
my day, month and year is made. Our Dog group is the best thing that has
happened for all us dog lovers in Delhi.
