The unwitting dog who sat on one of the bed at the CWG colony brought a barrage of wrath from everyone. Poor dog didnt realise what it was doing. He saw a good bed ,he sat on it. However the result was that all dogs have been removed now but the animal loving public has more or less agreed to it as frendicoes is overlooking everything. Please read below. As a personal opinion I think sometimes the path of least resistance is the best way, only sometimes.

The MCD started picking up dogs (all stray dogs, even sterilized ones) this morning (23.09.2010) from all Games venues and delivering them to Friendicoes at Defence Colony. I have been asked to advise you that if an MCD/NDMC van does come to your area, p;ease note its number and also the name and number of the driver to be able to trace your dogs after the Games. Do not allow anyone other than the MCD/NDMC or Friendicoes to pick up the dogs and make sure it is done humanely. If you see any cruelty taking place, please inform the MCD Commissioner, Mr Mehra. Please also remember that Friendicoes urgently needs volunteers to help with the tagging and feeding of the dogs.
