At a time when there’s a drought of good news in the country, a report from Jharkhand that the construction of an airport has been halted to ensure the jumbo corridor isn’t affected is welcome

At the time of a drought of good news in the country, there comes one to celebrate. The Expert Appraisal Committee (EAC) of the Union Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC) has halted the construction of an airport at the site of an abandoned World War-II airstrip near Jharkhand’s Dhalbhumgarh town. The reason? It would disrupt an elephant corridor used by 200 pachyderms.

Update:Sadly the baby passed away in her sleep a while ago.Whole night I kept on checking upon her n she slept peacefully. But ten minutes back she passed away. It is too traumatic as I was trying best to save her but it is really sad and sometimes we cannot change the destiny n sufferings of these innocent souls who have done nothing wrong yet suffer n die such horrific deaths. The funds raised will be used for paying her surgery dues. Now no contributions needed further. Thank you everyone who prayed and contributed for this girl I had named Sundari. Very graphic images but I urge everyone to see it as I am going to need a lot of help for this poor kid. Got a call from @sbvaishalisaini regarding this horrific case where this poor dog has gone through this unimaginable pain after being badly stabbed by knife causing internal organs and intestines to pop out. Without delaying for a second after the call I rushed within 25 minutes from Nangloi to Inderlok to pick the dog.I couldnt believe the gruesome condition in which this kid was lying....I immediately picked the dog and called for immediate arrangements of critical treatment n surgery in Dr Anand clinic.Reached with the kid as fast as I could. An emergency surgery has already been performed but the dog is still in very critical condition and needless to mention his mental trauma is intense. As per vets next few hours are very critical and to be followed by long term post operative care and regular treatment. The surgery alone has cost me Rs.10,000 today and I need ti arrange funds for his critical care treatment. Currently I need to raise atleast Rs.20,000 very urgently. Please come forward to support so that I can be able to provide my best to save this kid. Paytm number:7982535887 Account no - 35432760926 Name - Hemant yadav IfSC code- SBIN0016202 We will never be able to eliminate this mental trauma of this kid but atleast we can commit to do best for him. Thus pls pls come forward for this baby...
